Sarah manages a portfolio of UK grantees which address educational inequality and has an in-depth understanding of the UK education sector. She has previously served as a governor at a non-selective state school in a disadvantaged area of East London. Sarah has also managed a social entrepreneurship portfolio, providing capacity-building advice and support to early-stage organisations.
Sarah has a degree in psychology from the University of Birmingham. Sarah is passionate about the work of Long Covid Kids since both of her children have Long Covid; one of whom is largely recovered, the other is chronically ill, housebound and not currently accessing any education.
