Dr. Asad Khan

Subspecialty interest in Sleep Medicine and Long-Term Ventilation. His other interests are medical education, junior doctor wellbeing, civility in the workplace, and violations of the right to access healthcare in conflict zones.
Prior to developing Long Covid, he enjoyed cycling, swimming, and travel. He has been off work since Nov 2020 with post-COVID urticaria, POTS, pericarditis, fatigue, and cognitive impairment. Despite his position, he experienced disbelief and gaslighting by other members of the medical profession.

Currently, he spends his time raising awareness of the condition and advocating for sufferers. He is married to a GP and they have two primary school-aged children. He is an advocate of biomedical research and treatment for Long Covid.
